And ate fabulous fresh seafood...
Walked along Rainbow Row...
and saw houses with crooked porches...
We toured Fort Sumter (start of the civil war)...
Admired fancy homes...
We even found a fox outside our hotel...
And Dustin swam while Jessie slept on a beautiful beach, which we had all to ourselves...
Best of all, near the end of our trip our passenger side car window got stuck partway open (this has happened before and cost us a hefty sum to fix). We had to risk a day and night of break-ins and then, worse, make the 7 hour drive home exposed to the howling wind/sun/heat. Which we survived, only to realize when we pulled into home (not a minute sooner) that we'd had the child safety lock on and the window worked fine. And that's why we're not yet parents. ;-)

LOL. Too bad about your window. I hate the loud sound of traffic, especially on the interstate. We have to deal with it in Tim's car in the summertime b/c of the no A/C. Charleston looks very charming. Glad you guys got to spend some time together!
