The city is rich in history, full of fabulous food, and is the perfect place to take a nap in the park along the Potomac (we were quite worn out after all that eating).
Inside the church that George Washington attended...
A very old building (I can't remember details. Let's be honest, I was there for the food.)...
An 8 foot wide townhouse (that probably costs 5 million dollars)...
Last weekend we crashed with my family at Holden Beach, NC (a summer trip that they have taken without me for the past 8 years)...
Brooke turned 15! That's my baby sister... all grown up!
And we dined on Thai food (we're actually in Wilmington, not Thailand).
Thus sums up the last bit of August. We're both unwillingly back in school and missing those carefree summer days.
Awesome anniversary idea! And what an appropriate theme... food. :)
ReplyDeleteLooks like a fun last couple of weeks of summer. And it sounds yummy!
