Clara @ 3 months + a few days...
We haven't been to the doctor for a check-up (yes, she missed her two month, and will be late on her 3 month as well, I'm a terrible mother...) so I don't have official stats to post just yet *(UPDATED BELOW)...
but we did have a quick visit due to some recent severe reflux and over a week ago she was just shy of 13 lbs!
this girl now holds her head steady
rolls from tummy to back
"talks" to mama, strangers (sometimes we wonder if dad fits into this category), and inanimate objects
blows bubbles and drools and smiles nonstop
sleeps avg. 9-10 hours at night before waking to eat (10 1/2 is the current record)
grasps and "plays" with toys
chews her hands or anything near her mouth
is often more interested in the lamp, the ceiling, the wall, anything other than eating (although she does still eat plenty)
has started taking short but somewhat predictable naps
still sucks (not literally) at bottles and pacifiers (the latter of which we've pretty much given up)

loves sitting on the front porch watching city traffic
and giggles!!
(she does own pants- I'm just too lazy to put them on at home since I feel like I'm changing diapers nonstop!)
UPDATED STATS (at 3 months, 1 week):
head: 16 inches (50-75%)
height: 24 inches (50-75%)
weight: 13 lbs. (50-75%)
Wow what a cutie! How fast they grow up. I forget they grow so fast out of that new born stage. Sounds like you are doing well in Chicago.

ReplyDelete3 months already! She is adorable and does look a lot like you did as a baby. I agree, putting pants on a baby is a lost cause!
