Christmas in Eugene

we spent christmas eve through new years day in Oregon with Dustin's family (minus Kim and Nick and their babes- they were missed). Clara was in heaven with a new house to roam, toys to scatter, and cousins and Nana to entertain her. she was semi-interested in presents this year- she mostly seemed overwhelmed by the whole thing. her favorite gifts included a giant plush lamb mat, fancy colored pencils and crayons, and a bouncy ball that lights up.

Dustin interviewed with two different dentists in Eugene about possible jobs. but nothing firm yet. we're seriously considering the Pacific Northwest as our future home. Oregon might be a giant cloud of gloom this time of year, but now that we're back in Chicago and it's -2 and snowing constantly, it seems pretty appealing.
