It turned out nothing like I envisioned at first (in those pregnancy planning stages). But I love how it turned out and fits her spunky little personality. I chose a vintage carnival theme with the color focus being coral, aqua, grey, and antique white.
Have I mentioned that less than two months after we moved here our landlord has decided to sell the property (with no prior warning)? It was actually under contract but fell through after the inspection last week. (No big surprise there.) If it does sell at any point, and the buyers don't want to continue our lease, we'll be homeless in 60 days. Sounds fun in the middle of a Chicago winter, huh? It's been more than annoying having to put up with showings and the thought of searching for and securing a rental within budget and packing and moving again so soon makes me nauseous. And just after I finished Clara's room.
(the backup ac unit doesn't make the prettiest addition to the space, but I won't complain as it saved us this august when the central air went out)
